What travelers say about us

We really enjoyed our stay - the self check in was a breeze, and our room (No 6) was comfortable and had everything we needed. Our room was very clean, and well equipped. The property itself was peaceful, and pretty to wander around. We would definitely recommend a stay at Blickinstal!

Located within a vineyard this place is quiet with a beautiful outlook. Sunset over the vineyards is great. Room is clean and key pickup from a lockbox was so easy. Breakfast was provided and it was quite sufficient. Place is well out of town so water usage needs to be watched.

Great location on a hillside overlooking the Barossa Valley. Excellent place to watch the sunset. Tranquil setting wth trees and space. Table and chairs outside the rooms to relax and enjoy the fresh air. Stayed one night in standard room and one night in The Lodge, which was more comfortable with an internal table and chairs and more space. But both were fine.

Breakfast provisions were good for self-cooking. Location is good for wineries, particularly if going to Rockford's lunch. The outdoor communal area is good for gathering with friends and cooking a bbcue, great area above that for having a fire.

This location is excellent. I arrived and was able to check into my room at midday which was perfect and allowed me to go out and enjoy the rest of my afternoon without worrying about dropping off my luggage. …

Loved this place! The facilities were clean and in working order, the bed was comfortable, and th spa bath is a nice touch. The location is good if you're exploring the Barossa, and it was nice to go for a walk around the vineyard as the sun set.
